Throughout the Conference
We will have brunch together on Sunday morning. The hotel will be selling quick and easy breakfast and lunch items for our attendees on Friday and Saturday in the Atrium on the Fourth Floor. All other meals can be purchased on your own from local restaurants.
The I AM Conference is a time and place to connect with women from other nations, cultures, and traditions. Through Global Guests, we receive funds to bring women to the conference from countries where the Covenant serves in global mission. When we hear from voices that are different from our own, we all grow and learn.

E.Y.E. EXHIBIT: Expand Your Empathy for Mercy and Justice
Marriott 6th Floor
You are invited to Expand Your Empathy (E.Y.E.) engaging with thought provoking encounters designed to bring awareness to violent and systemic matters of injustice. Take a stroll through these powerful displays and get a glimpse into the reality for many in our society who are sick, impoverished and incarcerated. Matthew 25 expresses how we can care for the least of these – we see their plight and meet them at their need.
The E.Y.E. Exhibit focuses on the poverty crisis in America, school to prison pipeline, and violence against women.
Visit the “Beloved” board to read/share a written word of encouragement or note of love and support for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Conclude your journey at the Justice “Wailing Wall” where you can join with others in lament and prayers of healing and hope.
The outside terrace is an inviting optional space available for use to process, pray, read scripture and journal. It can also be utilized when creating a t-shirt for the clothesline project.
Marriott 4th Floor - Atrium
Covenant Bookstore will be at the I AM Conference with lots of great titles selected by keynote speakers and presenters.
Spiritual Direction Throughout the I AM Conference
Spiritual direction is a ministry of listening, discernment, and prayer in a confidential setting of encouragement and compassion. Through this ministry a spiritual companion listens and helps you discern the presence and work of God’s Spirit in your life. The goal of spiritual direction is that you grow closer to God and become more fully the person God created you to be.
If you would like to meet with a spiritual director during the conference, or if you are a spiritual director who is willing to provide spiritual direction during the week, please indicate your interest on the appropriate place on the registration page. Spiritual direction will take place only during free times in the schedule, and you will be notified of your time slot at a later date.
Capacity is limited and will be handled on a first come, first serve basis.
All worship sessions will have translation services live, in real time, using translation equipment. Please be aware that every effort will be made to create a positive experience for every woman, but the conference is not a fully bilingual event. Please indicate on registration form if you would like translation during worship.
Lodging, events, and meals at the Marriott City Center are in accessible buildings with elevators. Please indicate on the registration form if you require hearing assistive device or sign language interpretation. If you would like to rent a motorized scooter, please contact the Covenant Events office for local rental options.
